This bike was a complete restore. All main metal parts to include motor, suspension, swingarm, calipers, hubs and much more were all Cerakoted with H series. Their most durable product. Motor gone through and seals or other needed, replaced. Rims are DID, that I had polished, and anodized gold. FMF pipe was powder coated black. FMF silencer was repainted with Cerakote. All the hardware was cleaned up to appear new, and re-anodized with zinc or gold. Suspension was all re-built, new seals used after re-painting with Cerakote. Most of the aluminum parts had the casting seams removed. Re-painted with again, Cerakote. Tabs were welded onto the frame for the skid plate and the water pump guard. Tank, radiator covers, plastics were restored and polished. Since I preferred the look of the 1987 CR 500, I insured this 1988 Honda CR500 would appear as that year. This restore like most of the ones I have done, has never been started. I can readily insure it runs and provide videos prior to delivery.
