    There is Always a First. 1995 Honda CR 250

    All these motorcycles, display my passion for mainly 2-Stroke Honda brand CR's. On the average, each one would take 6-8 months to restores.

    When you are detailing every single nut, bolt, and even washer, it has to be a labor of love.

    My focus is to restore, but insure that those efforts translate into reliability, and better performance, from all the parts. 

    Removing casting seams, takes an incredibly long time. But, my sense was any passionate mechanic would have done the same, just to make his bike look a little more polished. If you know these bikes, you will find numerous unique, and detailed work on components, most others ignore.

    Why go through all the labor and expense to install Showa twin cartridge forks. Because, I believed these forks would improve the riding experience. This seemed a constant complaint about those 90 era Honda's.

    Why weld tabs for the skid plates and water pump protector. Because, these areas need protecting when riding.

    So much I didn't have to do, but still did it, merely because I could.


    I honestly believe there are few persons out there that can appreciate my sense and direction in restoring.
